Our kids ceramics classes are small, calm, & focused on individual attention. Each 6-week series gives students time to build, refine, glaze, & finish a meaningful piece while working at their own pace.
Choose the track that fits your kid: Sculptural for imaginative, character-driven work, or Functional for usable forms like bowls, cups, & dishes. Both classes include a built-in intro to the wheel for kids who want to try throwing.. If your child has prior wheel experience & wants more dedicated wheel time, reach out & we can talk about what fits.

Kids Functional Ceramics
A project-based class focused on creating simple, usable ceramic forms like bowls, cups, and small dishes. Students learn how to shape, refine, and decorate pieces with both form and function in mind.
Best for kids who enjoy making objects they can use and paying attention to detail.

Kids Sculptural Ceramics
Returning in fall! A project-based class focused on imaginative sculptural work. Students create figures, creatures, and expressive forms while learning foundational handbuilding techniques.
Best for kids who enjoy storytelling, characters, and open-ended creative exploration.
Teen Ceramics · Ages 13-17
6-week series · 2 hr classes
Our teen classes are small, focused, & built around hands-on instruction. Each 6-week series gives students time to develop their skills & finish work they're proud of while working at their own pace.
Choose the track that fits: Functional Ceramics for project-based handbuilding & usable forms, or Wheel Throwing for focused instruction on the wheel. Functional Ceramics includes a built-in intro to the wheel for students who want to try throwing, while Wheel Throwing is dedicated to the wheel from start to finish.

Teen Functional Ceramics
NEW for summer! A project-based class for teens focused on creating usable ceramic forms like bowls, cups, vases, & small dishes. Students learn handbuilding techniques to make functional pieces, with room to develop personal style & detail. Includes a built-in intro to the wheel for students who want to try throwing.
Best for teens who like making things they can use & want hands-on, project-based learning.

Teen Wheel Throwing
A structured introduction to wheel throwing for teens, with focused instruction in a small studio setting. Students learn core skills like centering, pulling walls, & shaping simple forms, with time for repetition & steady skill development. Limited to two students for consistent wheel time & individual guidance.
Best for teens ready to dig into the wheel specifically. No prior experience required.
Adult Classes · Ages 18+

Adult Wheel Throwing
A small, focused class with just two students, allowing for individualized instruction at any experience level. Whether you're brand new or looking to refine your skills, teaching is tailored to each student.
Best for adults who want dedicated time at the wheel with hands-on guidance.

Adult Handbuilding
Coming Soon: A project-based class focused on building ceramic forms by hand using pinch, coil, & slab techniques. Students develop a range of pieces while learning the fundamentals of working with clay without the wheel.
Best for adults who want to learn handbuilding fundamentals & enjoy hands-on, project-based work.

Adult Workshops
Coming Soon: Shorter, single-topic sessions for adults who want a focused experience without committing to a full series. Workshops run as 3-4 hour sessions, covering specific techniques or projects. Open to all experience levels.
Best for adults curious about clay, looking for a creative date or friend activity, or wanting to dip in without a long commitment.
